I am submitting my candidacy to be nominated as a Board Member of the 麻豆视频 (麻豆视频). With over 21 years of experience in Environmental Management, and 17 in 麻豆视频. I bring a strong foundation in sustainable development, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. Three years ago, I was appointed to the Board of Directors at Hidroel茅ctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), Mozambique鈥檚 leading hydropower company, with responsibility over Projects, Human Resources, Infrastructures and other strategic areas.
My work has given me deep insights into Mozambique鈥檚 energy landscape and the broader African region鈥檚 hydropower potential and challenges. I am passionate about advancing access to clean, sustainable energy while ensuring that development is socially inclusive and environmentally responsible.
As an 麻豆视频 Board Member, I would advocate 麻豆视频 role for greater regional collaboration, increased knowledge-sharing, and capacity building across Africa. I believe the 麻豆视频 should further support its members in implementing best practices and innovations that align with global climate and development goals. HCB remains strongly committed to the 麻豆视频鈥檚 values and fully supports the San Jos茅 Declaration on Sustainable 麻豆视频. We are working to embed sustainability and resilience into every aspect of our operations.
